Lebron plus scrubs won the EC and almost got 2 games off the Warriors, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he believes that him, PG, and good role players could do a lot of damage in the West...the West isn’t that tough outside of GS and Hou, this isn’t 2015 anymore

his family must really hate Houston if after all we’ve done it still looks like him coming here would be a miracle

if LA could form a Big 3 of Kawhi, PG, and Bron, then sure, LA is an easy decision, but if it’s just him and PG, then that’s a 3rd seed at best IMO...if that’s what he wants then ok

The problem with that is that you are calling Kevin Love a "scrub" and honestly he's at worst an equal player to Paul George. You say the West isn't that tough, but a team with Paul George, Russel Westbrook, Steven Adams, and Carmelo Anthony couldn't even make it out of the first round. I highly doubt Lebron is delusional enough to think that him plus Paul George equals anything approaching contention. If he goes to LA, he's decided to throw his career away.

Kevin Love is not at worst equal to Paul George, no way

at the end of the day, none of the teams in the West not named GS or Hou are scaring anybody...there’s some decent-good teams

he’d be punting on next season and waiting to see if LA could add a 3rd star to elevate the team to contender status

I think people have forgotten how good Kevin Love really is since he's been sort of buried on the Cavs. An excellent rebounding 6'10 PF that can make 41.5% of his 3's is an amazing weapon add in his ability to play small ball C and it's just that much better. He's weak defensively sure, but he's still one hell of a weapon. If you consider WS/48 to be a valid metric, Kevin Love's number last year was better than the best Paul George has ever put up.

He’s not a perfect match against golden state so people undersell him.

ok, but he’s definitely not on Paul George’s level and there’s not a GM alive that would take him over PG

PG is a top 20 player at worst

Who puts Kevin Love in their top 20?

You know what I'd like to see the points per possession the Warriors have on Love in iso situations. Cause if he's really not that bad in iso than we could use him.

I think if Paul George was as good as he's hyped to be, the Utah Jazz wouldn't have easily taken them out in the first round. A lot of the Paul George hype as a top 20 player comes from when he was on a weak team in the east looking like a big fish in a mud puddle. People seem to forget that when Kevin Love was in a comparable situation he was absolutely considered a top 20 player and honestly if he could stay healthy, he'd still be considered in that conversation.

LeBron and PG and whatever junk LAL would still have.. would barely beat Minnesota, probably gets swept by both Pels and Jazz.. not to mention GSW and Rox.

The same PG that was averaging 28 ppg and was OKC’s best player before that game 6? Latching onto 1 game is dumb.

They’re not a lock to beat either team which speaks volumes. Houston beats Utah in 5 again next season if we play them. NO in more than 6 but probably 5

They’re not a lock although I do think Lebron would beat them, but saying that a team featuring the best player in the game and PG would get swept by those caliber of teams? For real?

For how long? Lebron is how old again? Is he expecting PG to help carry him to the throne? Having to deal w GS Houston and the tough west. It seems much more logical to stay in whack ass Cleveland

No, probably not sweeping, but Utah and NOP most likely beat them assuming they make the playoffs.

How? He’s supposed to be a superstar why give him a pass on a must win game? Nobody gave Harden a pass in game 6 against the Spurs and PG doesn’t have the excuse of having to carry his whole team.
