Talk to me about the pitchers for game 3. Anyone know anything?

    I noticed Wagner had a 16.8 K/9inning ratio!!!!! Wow-Wow.

Then I noticed Rice's pitcher was 15-0! Damn!

    Who pitches next????

Wade Townsend pitches for Rice tomorrow. He's been the midweek starter most of the year. Wade has dominated some pretty stiff competition. ERA under 2

I think Brian Mock? is pitching for UH. 5-4 with ERA around 4.5.

I just hope the Owls don't have to face Wagner with the game on the line.

Should be a good game tomorrow.

The Owls are headed back to Omaha! The Coogs put up a much better fight than I expected. Townsend was unbelieveable. Bubela came up big at the right spots and our defense was great, particularly the middle infield defense of Janish and Cruz. Hopefully we can go to the CWS and win our first game. Even though SWMS has been playing well, we should beat them.

It's too bad Wagner wasn't a starter. He's unhittable. We probably could have beat Rice with an Arm like that. Anybody know why he's a reliever?

    That's mildly racist.

Were you at the game saying that to your UH friends? Some dude was saying that after Rice lost. I almost said something but I realized he was talking to his friends.

Today's game was the first I've missed - due to the fact that I'm in Cincinnati on work.

Don't get me wrong - I was impressed by the Coogs play this weekend. Zell especially pitched very strong on Saturday. The Coogs are a tough bunch to put away, and had some outstanding pitching. In hindsight I'm glad Wags didn't start against us.

    Mildly racist? Nah.

Just not enough hitting. Cole Bruce really had a brutal game- giving up 2 earned runs and striking out 2 or 3 times.

Anyways, Rice deserved it, they were the better team. Now I owe my friend some drinks. :(

He was actually worse than that; he struck out all 4 times at bat on Sunday, then struck out all 3 times at bat on Monday, in addition to the error(s). Then Noble pulled him out. Hopefully he's not a senior, it would completely suck to end your career on such a downer.
