In an interview with Maxim Magazine, Tyson said that the best punch he ever threw was one when he hit Robin Givens and bounced her off every wall in the house. He also jumped the writer and stabbed him in the head with a fork as a way to describe what he would to to Lennox Lewis the next time he saw him. Heard this on Entertainment Tonight. Someone get that guy his medication! Sheesh! ------------------ Things do not change; we change. - Henry David Thoreau
Or rather OFF the medication...or ON...or?! I actually like Tyson and hope he regains a Heavyweight Belt of some sorts, but yes he's a bit crazy. Not much you can do about that, medication or not. Remember a few years ago Tyson's Psychiatric Examination of which he was deemed mentally fit to return to boxing? Thats boxing for ya! ------------------ "Beware the lollipop of mediocrity. Lick once and you suck forever."
Yeah, I saw taht too. I think his exact words were that she "bounced of every f***ing wall in the house." I swear I think he was proud of that. ------------------ I always thought "With my talent, it's only a matter of time before I'm discovered". Now I think "With my talent, it's only a matter of time before I'm found out".
Waiting for DREAMer to defend this. ------------------ Can't I just give you some of my sperm? It's really good!
I thought you were talking about Tyson Chandler at first. I was about to saaaay.......there goes being drafted by any mentally stable NBA team. ------------------

Rocketman95, I cannot defend it. Just like I could not defend Tyson's second bite on Evander Holifield. Nor could I defend: Barkley spitting on a little girl, my Dad using cocaine, or Evander himself biting his opponent, etc. I still like Tyson, Barkley, my Dad, and Holifield. Why do people feel the need to point out Tyson's eccentricities to me, or anyone? It's obvious he's a little looney, I've never questioned that. What I like about Tyson is what he was able to accomplish from humble beginnings. I also feel sorry for him because I feel that he's been taken advantage of by many people, from Don King, to Robin Givens, to his ex-trainer, to that stupid beauty queen pagent contestant. I think Cus D'Amato is the only person who tried to give to Tyson as much as he benefitted from Tyson. ------------------ DREAMer's Rocket Page
I like to watch Tyson box. As person, I don't care what he is or does. Those 3 minute rounds though... however many there may be... are the beauty of boxing. The raw power of two boxers pummeling each other for sport brings out a primal urge that makes me watch and enjoy. The punch in the jaw or blow to the head. The one that jiggles the brain just enough to make the boxer pass out. Those are the punches I enjoy most. The look in the boxers eye as if he's just sort of there...or not... the knees wobble... and sometimes they sleep, right there in the ring! Out cold. Like a light. rH ------------------ visit: groovehouse.org
So the next pay per view is at your house? ------------------ "Beware the lollipop of mediocrity. Lick once and you suck forever."
Are you saying he actually stabbed the guy in the head or he acted it out? Good Lord. ------------------ "I had mine chewed off by a boss one time." -- Behad leaves us wondering if he gets hazard pay...
Here's a blurb. Doesn't say much more than what Jeff said, though : http://www.entertainmenttonight.com/newslink/index.htm ------------------ "I had mine chewed off by a boss one time." -- Behad leaves us wondering if he gets hazard pay...

I'm thinking along the same line as DREAMer and I totally agree with him. I've had family, close family, do some stupid things, unforgivable things, but I still like them. Am I condoning what Iron Mike has done? Nope. He has been taken advantage up in his life, and I feel sorry for him in those situation. The guy is a straight up nutcase, there is no denying that. But there are plenty of nutcases in sports that we cheer. But hey, what are ya gonna do right? ------------------ "Win if you can, lose if you must but always cheat!" - Jesse Ventura
He actually stabbed the guy in the head, though apparently not hard enough to be serious. The guy is a complete and total idiot who needs extremely serious medical help. I don't care how great a performer he is. He is in need of serious help. ------------------ Things do not change; we change. - Henry David Thoreau
My problem with folx is If he was Pookie on the street they would want him locked up I'm really stopping trying to CUT for famous folx so much . . . I say if you would rip someone about beating their wife then you should rip Tyson otherwise you a hypocrit How much do you like what he does are you willing to let him beat his wife senseless so you can see him take the crown from Lewis? Are you willing to let him roam free and potentially hurt someone so he can take the crown from Lewis? At what point do you say ENOUGH Cause honestly. I would not let my or kids anywhere near him. At this point i'm just tired of Mike Tyson much like Rodman before him Rocket River ------------------
How much of what Mike Tyson does is an act? He does have a severe anger problem, but sometimes I think he is just trying to be a hard***. He needs help for his anger but no one can help him unless he asks for it. ------------------
Cus D'Amato's death was the beginning of the end for Mike Tyson. Tyson was, and is, in serious need of a father figure. ------------------ "Blues is a Healer" --John Lee Hooker
I don't think Lennox is champ anymore, so Mike will have to stick a fork in the other guy. At least he's using silverware now, though. It's a small step in the right direction.
