Urbandale police had asked Greene to leave a high school football game about two weeks ago, prompting him to complain that police were infringing on his rights, McCarty told reporters Wednesday morning.
Greene was asked to leave after he waved a Confederate flag in front of "people of color" during the national anthem, and other people complained it was offensive, McCarty said.

Greene left school property but used public sidewalks to "continue his demonstration," McCarty said.

Greene is white, as were Martin and Beminio, police said.

(I've said before) Anti-Cop rhetoric and resentment has LONG been prominent and on the rise by mostly White voices, wel before BLM.

"Cop Block" for example is NOT a black run group, though its message is very similar to BLM's police message. BLM gets critique because it singularly identifies itself to 1 race, and includes broader range of any injustice to the 1 race. Just focus on the "Police" part and its almost a multi-race issue under different names.
