I'm 1 episode behind...but Chris Rock and Schwartzman are the 2 worst lead characters in the whole 4 series. Other than the 2 prison break bankrobbing lesbians. They are terrible. I do still find it entertaining, though. There are very, very good characters mixed in to all this.
Schwartzman is so bad in this. We know he's supposed to be playing a manchild who is in over his head trying to be a mob boss, but despite the role being perfect on paper for him it doesn't work on screen at all. So far the Cop, the Rabbi, the Dad, and the Girl are the standouts in this season. They tried to do a Fargo/Millers Crossing hybrid here but it comes off as flat.
This is one of the best shows of the year easily. I'd argue it's the best Netflix-exclusive to date. 10/10
Too out there for me. I tried it in a drunkin stuper but man it was too much mass-hole for me to appreciate it. Watched 2 episodes and gave it up. Best of luck to that skinny broad and that dood that wanted to find his heirful car. To me, Its "the end of the ****ing world" dumbed down to northeastern **** ups. Not a good transition.
I'd agree. Best Netflix show I've seen, and honestly one of the best shows I've seen in recent memory. Just absolutely terrific.
Finally watched El Camino. Don't recommend it. It's not bad, but you'd rather just end the series the way it actually ended.
It says something about the movie that I cannot remember if I actually watched it or not. I know I started it but not sure if I finished it.
Going through The West Wing for probably the 10th time since Nov 2016. Also, season 7 of The Blacklist.
The Liberator (netflix) - Four episodes. WWII story. They put a filter on to make the live action looks like animation. Call of Duty heroic moments spread out. Recommend.
