[TV] Mr Robot

I kid you not, I was right there with you. I stopped watching after the first 10 minutes then picked it back up again a couple days later. It gets very good after... the first 15 minutes.

 

Alright. ill finish it because you suggested to and because i've got nothing else to watch tonight.

 

This is the first USA show i remember watching since WWE Raw or Tuesday Night Fights. And its bad ass. Wow i loved it. Very original and I hope it gets a nice run.

 

I really hope Slater isn't just a figment of his disillusion. Too cliche. Please don't be like fight club.

 

Wow. Just watched the pilot on USA after remembering this thread. I'm impressed. Has like this Fincheresque quality to it. Definitely adding to the DVR. Wife and I were both intrigued. Can't believe I'm recording a USA show.

 

I'm in. They should've come up with a better title.

 

I get the reference of Ecorp to Enron, but if everyone is calling it evilcorp, then I think it shows that the storytelling perspective is more entrenched in his psyche than the normal first person pov. Not just hearing his thoughts and seeing events through his eyes, but also filtered through the distortions created in his head.

The fight club reference makes more sense with the scale of events, but I was thinking Lenny from Memento.

And nobody watched Psych? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Yes. Damnit I am going to be on vacation when episode 2 airs. Oh well, at least I'll have 2 to watch when I return.

 

I saw an ad for it last night and set up a pass minutes before the pilot started. Plan on watching tonight.

The only bad thing about the show so far is it let me watch the Pilot before it premiered -- I thought I was going to get to watch Episode 2 last night. What a let down to have to wait another week..

Watched the first episode tonight based off my cable box recommendation. Really liked it.

I'll definitely continue tuning in.

 

Didn't catch the USA airing, only the online episode. Do they bleep out "f***" in the broadcast or is that allowed now?
