Yes the bread is called “Kummelweck” and shortened to “weck” I recall having one of those sandwiches the first time I went to a BW3 in college.
I don’t remember much about the sandwich and it’s only seeing the pic on Wikipedia that jogged my memory. I’ve not been too impressed with the food or the vibe of Buffalo Wild Wings. We have a few in the Twin Coties area including one by the U of MN. The University one just seems like a run of the mill college bar while the other ones run of the mill midwestern suburban bars. A moderately more interesting Applebees.
Their wings were great back, at least at that one. You could get .50c drumsticks on Tuesdays, random beer specials, etc... Last time I went to one was 15 years ago around Bulverde and it was horrible.
Just saw the “Connect U” segment / commercial during the NCAA games and they look as annoying as the Toyota segments they do during Sunday night football.
Yes! I pray they return (at least for this ad campaign) to the 80s silly foolishness commercials that Lite ran.
When I first saw this one, I thought it was Segun on the right. Are we supposed to know who these guys are?
