I am sure we will see him transform from the palm-sweating person he is at the start of the show to the uber-slick weasel he ends up as on BB.
I really want to jump-start on this show but do I need to finish Breaking Bad??? I already have enough tv series I could barely catch up too.
I just found out that uverse in Sacramento doesn't carry AMC. Anyone know of legal streaming options?
I would finish Breaking Bad. Better Call Saul seems like it'll be filled with Easter eggs from BB (as it should). It'd be a lot more fun if you knew what to look for or recognize in BCS
THe opening flash forward (for this series) scene is more appreciated if you do. I had low expectations for this, but I really like the rock bottom starting point, and where it's headed so far. Some really nice touches- how the de electro magnetized house unfolded to us was awesome, being asked if he grounded himself in the same tone as did he wipe his feet, we're wondering wtf with the phone etc. in the mailbox shot, then back out from the same view immediately after the final straw- realizing why that $26k check he destroyed was made out to him, with the $800 "stipends" his client was accepting being given to him behind his back (which I think that law firm would get in big trboule for). And just generally everything looks so clean and real, the courtroom shots & people, skate park. Everything was good. The parking toll booth was a little weak, not very believable, but I'm sure they're going somewhere with that, not many nitpicks overall so far. I'm in.
Definitely finish Breaking Bad first. You will appreciate Better Call Saul more. There also might be some spoilers to Breaking Bad in Saul if you watch it first
So do you think Mike is actually just a parking toll booth operator at this point or he's already a trained assassin? I'm hazy on the details of his life from BB.
Unbelievable for who he is to be in that job at that age, but seems too early to already be at that stage too. I don't remember the official backstory we know from bb, for some reason I always remembered him being an ex cop, done something wrong & became a PI. Or maybe I made that up.

Science, b****es: Idiopathic environmental intolerance attributed to electromagnetic fields (IEI-EMF) is a group of symptoms purportedly caused by exposure to electromagnetic fields.[1] Other terms for IEI-EMF include electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS), electrohypersensitivity, electro-sensitivity, and electrical sensitivity (ES). Idiopathic refers to the fact that the cause is unknown. Although the thermal effects of electromagnetic fields on the body are established, those who are self-described with electromagnetic hypersensitivity report responding to non-ionizing electromagnetic fields (or electromagnetic radiation) at intensities well below the limits permitted by international radiation safety standards. The reported symptoms of EHS include headache, fatigue, stress, sleep disturbances, skin symptoms like prickling, burning sensations and rashes, pain and ache in muscles and many other health problems. Whatever their cause, EHS symptoms are a real and sometimes disabling problem for the affected person. However, there is no scientific basis to link EHS symptoms to electromagnetic field exposure.[2] The prevalence of claimed electromagnetic hypersensitivity has been estimated as being between a few cases per million to 5% of the population depending on the location and definition of the condition.
So when are they gonna start Talking Saul, or Better Talk Saul maybe. I guess the show needs at least a season under its belt before they start that.
