Most dysfunctional Cougar team I have seen in years. They don't even look like they want to play. Just awful, like they have no idea what they are supposed to be doing. They also seem very dispirited, like they have thrown in the towel for the season.
It's frustrating to watch. The bad play calling, the penalties, the poor tackling. Hard to believe less than a month ago many thought we would go through the season undefeated. Even though we don't get the overall top echelon of talent to work with like Alabama or other teams, these kids we have are talented. We need for the football team, whatever it is that Sampson brings to the basketball team. Whatever that is, Holgi clearly does not have.
There has to be a young, hungry, innovative guy that can bring a winning, interesting product back to the field. It doesn’t matter if he eventually leaves. Notre Dame, LSU, FSU, etc lose coaches. Who cares? Just give the fans something to be excited about for a couple of seasons. The Dana Holgorsen era is no fun.
I thought UH had it after going up a TD with 3 min to go. I turned it off because I couldn't stand ESPN shoving Aaron Judge down my throat. Can't believe I missed an exciting ending.
I didn't watch the game but I get the feeling by reading this thread that Cougar football is just plain uninteresting again.
