    Per TSN ...

It appears that Hedo Turkoglu's days as a Raptor may soon be over, just one year after he arrived in Toronto on a five-year, $53 million contract via a sign-and-trade deal with the Orlando Magic.

According to the Basketball Jones blog, Turkoglu was interviewed recently on Turkish television, where he revealed that he is actively seeking a release from the Raptors.

Turkoglu was fined and then benched late in the season after allegedly being spotted at a nightclub just hours after missing a game with a stomach virus.

In a translation of the interview, Turkoglu described his situation:

"When the circumstances turned against me, I lost my enthusiasm for this city. My lawyers have talked to the front office recently. Honestly, I do not want to go back to Toronto," Turkoglu told his Turkish interviewers.

"My lawyers talked to Mr. Colangelo and I hope that they will come up with a solution soon. During this process I talked to [Raptors head coach] Jay Triano several times. I promised him that whether he starts me or not, I will do my best on the court. However, if I had a more temperamental personality, I would have left the team. Yet, I did exactly the opposite. I did my best. I told him that I have no problems with him. I am not a young player, so it's not a big deal for me to come off the bench," said Turkoglu.

The 31-year old veteran played 74 games for the Raptors last season and averaged 11.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists. He logged nearly 31 minutes per game for the Raptors, who are his fourth NBA club. He has also played for Sacramento, San Antonio, and Orlando.

It might now be a bad thing if Bosh comes with him. We'll finally have a playmaker on the floor not named Brooks.

Either he wants to be traded or he is trying to prove something...not sure...

There is no way he would walk away from all that money.

There is no way he can be released and he knows that.

He could accept a ZERO buyout........but the union would be all over trying to stop that.

If Hedo comes to Houston, I will stop being a Rockets fan.

Hedo sucks, would rather party than play for his team, and has no work ethic.

Worst free agent signing in the history of the Raptors.

Can't believe Colangelo was considered a good GM at one point.

That's being disputed in the article I posted above.

It's a little funny how he hasn't has these troubles after all these years with his previous teams.

Even Adelman has given him kudos on his character.

I guess he found out Bosh will not be staying in Toronto.

If he came in a package with Bosh, Morey Git R' Done!

I wouldn't mind him on our roster, especially reuniting with Rick. Everybody who has played under Adelman has flourised.

He never got as big a contract as he did with his new team.
Once he got the money, he just went to the club.

No kidding. That clown is enough to make me feel sorry for the city of Toronto. They deserve better than this.

If Colangelo called Morey and said, " Hey Daryl, Chris has told me that he is interested in coming to Houston. We will oblige, but we want you to take Hedo's contract off of our hands. We would want Ariza in return and you can keep your draft picks."

If you were Morey, would you do it?

I wouldn't mind having Hedo on our roster. He's played for Adelman before and has proven to be a clutch performer come playoff time.

I wonder if Orlando will trade for him, he seemed to do really good with Stan as a coach and played well there. Should be intresting this offseason.
