btw..., pence talking now. this dude creeps me the F out. his look, his speech, weird... like a what an creepy automaton would look like imo.
Wasting time answering the crap talking media while the orange blob should be working. Some questions are fine but many reporters are just pushing an agenda.
trump throws pence under the bus to answer a question about the deficiency in the number of tests... and pence manages to babble then lie about the number of tests performed...
Maybe I'm missing something. Why exactly does Sean Spicer have WH press credentials? Or was it just a straight up plant to ask a prearranged question?
Mr trump ends his press conference attempting to place blame for the slow, disjointed, and frequently dishonest response to the Coronavirus by attempting to blame the “previous administration” for leaving a “broken system.” That’s a system that trump’s own administration worked to dismantle a crucial part of prior to the crisis, something that had to have had an impact on the slow response. He always blames someone else for his own failings, his own mistakes. The “previous administration,” the “fake news” of the mainstream press, foreign government(s), deliberately using offensive, and worse, language. All the while praising himself for everything that can possibly be described as good, never never taking personal responsibility for mistakes. Just to be clear, I watched the entire and often disturbing news conference. Want to see how an actual leader responds to this crisis, how a leader can take personal responsibility? Watch the speech by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announcing severe measures for the state of New York today, which should be found easily by an online search. The contrast is stunning, and it has nothing to do with political party. It has everything to do with the clear difference between the two men dealing with this crisis.
The momentum that seemed to be building on Tuesday& Wednesday in terms of federal response seems like it's basically been lost with a combination of Trump incompetence and stupidity and Mitch McConnell's grim reaper legislative graveyard, which will become an actual graveyard soon.
The bad news is the government sucks at protecting people. It wasn't like SARS and H1N1 weren't warnings. The good news is Trump kinda sorta cares now that the only metric he semi-understands took a nose dive.
Another highlight... appropriate question (especially since trump in past has said anyone that needs a test would get a test)...
Remember the Defense Protection Act thing, it was just a suggestion: The fact that we have to go every 2 days reminding the President how insanely dangerous this crisis is because he forgets and is not mentally capable of processing it is not tenable. We are ****ed.
He needs to be removed from office to save lives. Full stop. We shouldn't wish him dead but this needs to happen. He needs to step down.
the man? is the definition of a snowflake a word they created. It's doesn't even form into a snowflake before melting. Thank the heavens he's a caricature. After this, there are going to be other bad hambres that will take his shtick, one used in non democratic nations throughout history, and amp it up x1000.
