The CDC has stated numerous times that they are not set up for administering tests to the masses. Why didn't the Obama administration have a comprehensive plan in place so that the next administration could follow it to a 'T' ? Why didn't Bush's have one in place for Obama's admin? Criticize, because what else are ya gonna do? I get it.
Everything that Obama has put in place Trump has basically done his best to destroy.... So the question should be Why didn't Trump keep some of the programs in place and understand why they were there and build upon them... All Trump and his trumpettes do is kick the can and never except responsibility for anything... T_Man
I think once this has run it's course, then we can look back keep score of what was done wrong and what was done right. But I get it. Psychologically it helps to have someone to blame. I'm sure that's why Trump always blames someone else. He's insecure and he's a narcissist.
You are kidding right. Trump sat on his ass for a month. Or are you seriously telling me it took till March to get people tested. 125 test per million. 125 one of the lowest amounts amount almost every developed country in the world. This has nothing to do with Obama.
Seriously... you are now trying to suggest former President Obama and his admin are somehow to blame because they didn't have a fully baked response plan for trump's admin to "follow to a T"? First, how do you know there wasn't one? trump seems to have a distaste for anything Obama did, and its more likely trump would ignore or cut whatever plan that was left in place. After all, trump cut agencies that Obama put in place to respond to situations such as this. trump has been in office for over three years now... its about time he take responsibility
It's better to keep a running score cos Agent Orange and his cohort of 'Leader fart smells great' are likely going to cost most Americans their life savings and livelihood, and tens of thousands may lose their lives. We had enough heads up that an average person could have done a much better job, but instead the toddler wasted the lead time we had, and when did act, was focused on things he thought would help his reelection while ignoring the more important public health issues.
Trump's response to the warnings of this virus have been similar to Bush and 9/11 except Trump had a much longer period to take action yet still ignored the alerts.
It took Bush almost 8 years to lead us into a mass casualty event AND economic meltdown. Trump has been able to accomplish the same in only 3 1/2.
[Premium Post] Trump now starting to receive bi-partisan praise for his leadership through this China-originated crisis. Are we in for a honeymoon period like GWB after 9-11? Quite possibly, if we defeat this virus and advance forward as a nation. GOOD DAY
I’m not blaming Obama. I said it to make a point. Are you suggesting Trump made a deliberate decision NOT to test? It’s what you’re implying.
I said that to make a point. Your extreme desire to criticize could be pointed at anyone in charge. The buck stops there. I get it. You guys are acting like Trump had a surplus of tests that he sat on. That’s simply not the case.
He could have taken steps that would have ensured those tests would have been available when and where needed. Instead the idiot was busy downplaying the issue and telling his people that it was a hoax by the democrats. What he did was worse than sitting on a surplus of tests, as that could have been solved by him getting of his orange arse.
this warrants repeating Trump flashing another shining object to divert attention away from his incompetence, sleeping on the job, calling the virus a hoax
First, the "guy in charge" is the guy to criticize when things go wrong. Obama would have gotten criticized if he bungled this as much as trump. So would GWB (in fact, he did for Katrina). Second, we don't know if trump sat on tests. But we do know he knew of the Coronavirus in late December or early January. We will nenevr know for sure since he and his admin are so dishonest, but we do know he made a number of big missteps, we know he didn't prioritize test kits early on (in fact, it appears not until very recently). We also know he made a number of missteps before December. And trump still seems to be bumbling his way through (eg saying CDC approved the use of Choroquine when in fact they did not... how can *that* be an explainable mistake?).
