    Trump has been an awesome president so far. How did you come to the conclusion that Trump presidency has been catastrophic? Facts don't care about your feelings. Leave your bubble.

    Republicans were not motivated by the tax cuts.

    Democrats were motivated by health care.

    Because he's a white guy who may or may not be racist, but certainly is complicit to it.

    Similar to white evangelicals saying "Trump may not be a saint, but he stands for our Christian values so we support him".

    Doesn't matter if Trump is in fact a racist. Racists love him because he's their guy. They'll never abandon Trump.

    Everyone knows that the conservative Repubs with some Blue Dogs Dems are a minority that is only maintained by voter suppression or discouragement (intentional) of lower class Americans. Even in their gerrymandered districts they are not safe if more folks start voting. Gays, guns, abortion and perhaps even race are not as effective for the conservatives as many folks fall further behind economically. Hence status quo types like Hillary and Jeb are toast.

    In their desperation folks voted for the hip black guy (the cautious moderate Obama) and then they voted for the con man who promised them big change (the ridiculous Trump) without relief.

    Nothing factual makes Trump a good president.

    1. Failed healthcare reform
    2. Still no wall and Mexico is 100% not paying for it
    3. Pushed through a tax reform plan that benefits rich people with no way to pay for it, which will grow our deficit
    4. What happened to the infrastructure that he was promising?
    5. Embarrasses himself by making stupid tweets daily such as saying "Marine Core" like a dumbass, proves that he might be mentally r****ded
    6. Keeps firing cabinet members and White House staff or they are resigning on their own, utter chaos and dysfunction
    7. Implements steel tariffs that no one supports

    Nonetheless, I see that you are one of those people sinking with the ship. Have fun drowning.

    1. Tax cuts for 80 percent of Americans
    2. Withdrawing from TTP
    3. Withdrawing from Paris Accord which was going to cost 2.7 million jobs by 2025
    4. Renegotiating NAFTA
    5. Government revenue increase
    6. Illegal immigration decrease

    I'm probably missing more but these are things I came up off of my head.

    Also the wall will still be built and denuclearizing North Korea, if it happens, will be the icing on the cake.

    WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—House Speaker Paul Ryan has set a Google News alert to notify him of the instant that Donald Trump becomes unpopular enough to turn against, Ryan revealed on Thursday.

    The news alert, which Ryan said was set to the phrase “Trump approval rating falls below fifty per cent among Republican voters,” will inform the House Speaker of the precise moment “that I can bail on President Trump at no political cost to me,” Ryan explained.

    “There’s this sense out there in the media that Washington is consumed by drama and nothing is getting done,” Ryan told reporters. “I think it’s important for people to know that important things are, in fact, getting done, and setting this Google News alert is one of those things.”

    Asked by a reporter when he anticipated turning on Trump, Ryan dismissed that as a hypothetical question, adding, “There is no timetable for my inevitable betrayal of him. Once I receive that Google News alert, it will most likely happen a split second after that.”

    Ryan ended his press conference by reassuring the American people that he is hard at work for them. “I am checking my phone every ten—and sometimes every five—minutes,” he said.
