It's just for the midterms. Come Nov 7, you will not hear a peep about this. He thinks we're very gullible. And he's already proved once he was right.
He doesn't think, he KNOWS that his base is very gullible. He thinks very little of the people that put him in power.
It doesn't appear either party cares too much about fiscal responsibility. That's sad because it's probably the most important issue to me.
Yep, this. There is no point in worrying about what someone else has. If you want that thing too, then figure out a way for you to get it. Usually, that involves some combination of working harder and smarter, and saving.
Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope.....I think I got all of them. By and large, we do live in a meritocracy, where good ideas and hard work are rewarded. People who continue to be in the lower income levels year after year are invariably suffering from (and perhaps even indulging) some sort of dysfunction.
I love all these people saying Trump lies all the time. Then you go investigate it, it's almost always a case of a) Trump being hyperbolic b) Critics setting up straw man arguments
Not sure if being sarcastic or not ….but I would ask -- "why does the government need more of my hard-earned money?"
Yes....sarcasm. Trump has continually touted the previous tax cut as the biggest ever and scoffed at any suggestion that it mainly helped the 1%ers.
To be fair, I don't think trump is lying. I think, even nearly a full 2 years into his administration, he still doesn't understand the basic functions of the 3 branches. It's really quite amazing to be as vapid as feckless as he is. That takes effort. He must be practicing during the many hours of "Executive Time" he takes on a daily basis.
The wealthy are the biggest employers in this country - and that's a fact. They are also the most generous philanthropists.
Nope. They have more wealth than the vast majority of white families too. The hispanic community doesn't make anywhere near as much hulabaloo as the black community does either. If I was inclined I could point out that the situation here is a far cry from countires ruled by a dictatorship. Nope - not when I see black people making more money than me on my own job. Asian people on average make more than whites but apparently only the fact that whites make more money than blacks seems to irk you. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it - especially in light of the entreprenurial opportunities in this country. So how do you propose we change it? Dictating to employers how they are to pay their employees would likely have an even greater deleterious effect on the economy and be the first step toward a big brother society.
