You are an inspiring citizen who clearly loves the entire United States of America. There was no crying like the 8 years of conservative tears of made-up Obama stories, but did I enjoy that? No, it made me sad, b/c it was counterproductive for everyone and hurt the country.
Even ISIS is laughing at the alt-right - of course to our alt-right friends, Obama and liberals are a far worse enemy than ISIS
I gotta tough time taking Steele seriously after his RNC run and that quote in his book urging people to vote Democrat.
... it will be interesting to see what the favorability numbers are next week after the Comey firing/Russia investigation story. Luckily for Trump, his favorability still remains high with republican/conservatives on ClutchFans D&D (most of which didn't vote for him, supposedly): Poll: Trump's approval rating slips to 36 percent http://thehill.com/business-a-lobby...pproval-ratings-among-voters-near-record-lows
Yet his ardent supporters here are still ensconced in a fantasy world, where everyone except "evil Libtards" love Mr. trump, his policies, his tweets, and his utterly bizarre behavior. Oh, many of them also seem to be fans of Russia and Putin. That's somewhere far past bizarre, in my humble opinion.
People don't want to admit they ****ed up by putting a lunatic in the office. Most thought he would come in and put some sanity in the role and get stuff done, instead it has been 100% the opposite, and now they are faced with the reality that they elected a guy who has sold out to our enemy, Russia. Well done, and when you wake up and start putting COUNTRY ahead of party, you can start to get your credibility back, until that time you are all a bunch of ignoramouses afraid to admit you made a mistake. A longtime friend of mine is still drunk on the Trump Kool-Aid and blames the media for all of Trump's problems. It really breaks my heart to see someone I respect(ed) so much just lose his mind.
Trump's Real Clear Politics (RCP) average favorability fell below 40% for the first time. That average of polls includes Rasmussen (always favors republicans) at 44% approve and Gallup and Quinnipiac at 38% and 36% approval. Quinnipiac has been the lowest over time and it hasnt been updated since the latest flurry of controversies so no doubt it will fall below 35%.
Not criticizing his trip at all though there were a few humorous moments (Melania's rebuffs, picture with Pope). But honestly, its a pretty low bar, with obvious efforts by his people to throttle back on Trump (minimal tweets, minimal public speaking). That said, whatever uptick he could have hoped for from his trip will be countered by the CBO report, continuing reaction to the budget, and growing concerns about about Comey firing/replacement and Russia. Then his own administration can always be counted to make some speaking gaffe or policy statement. I doubt Trump will ever see a positive favorability number...
Trump will eventually benefit from public fatigue and his numbers will start to rise as people become numb to negative stories. I'm assuming the regular, flagrant displays of incompetence will decline (or stop).
