Emoluments: The Title of Nobility Clause is a provision in Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the United States Constitution,[1] that prohibits the federal government from granting titles of nobility, and restricts members of the government from receiving gifts, emoluments, offices or titles from foreign states without the consent of the United States Congress.

Apparently, the republicans are not concerned... but I have a hunch Mueller will subpoena these records.
Democrats demand U.S. agencies reveal how much they spend at Trump businesses

    Trump and swamp drainage

Trump needs to drain the Alt-Right swamp in his White House

    • Sebastian Gorka
      • the Neo-Nazi, by way of Turkey, UK an then Breibart News, is the "deputy assistant" to the POTUS.
    • Stephen Miller
      • the Duke-educated cosmopolitan elite is a white nationalist
    • Steve Bannon
      • the former Breibart publisher is a white nationalist

Why is the Trump administration hiding who visits the White House?

Devil's advocate in me says the president has the privilege to choose winners and losers. Idealists would call this regulatory capture by what those lobbyists represent, but that's what we as citizens voted (or not voted) in.

Perhaps I am wrong, but didn't Trump run on the idea of "draining the swamp" And wasn't a big part of it related to lobbyist reforms? Though I guess the fact that there is no longer a link to the five point ethics plan.

Trump's lobbying ban was step towards 'draining the swamp'

I really can't fathom how corrupt the Republicans are and how they maintain their idiotic base.

How many egregious examples do people need to see before they realize one party is completely and totally self serving.

    It boggles the mind.

Draining the swamp was code for ridding America of the Kenyan muslin agent. It wasn't the deepest of promises, but one that resonated deeply with his birther voters.

The rest of his agenda, one that shores up his mouth breather approval rating, is draining Obama's executive orders one drop at a time, like measured morphine to his drug addled, hope ridden supporters.
