Your numbers seem off on mine, not that I was keeping tabs or anything. Year Posts Rep Rep/Post 2013 14518 1443 2009 7482 124 Diff 7036 1319 0.1874 <table cellpadding="5" cellspacing="1" border="1" ><tr><td>#</td><td>Username</td><td>Post Count</td><td>Reputation</td><td>Reputation/post</td></tr><tr><td>1</td><td>v3.0</td><td>7036</td><td>1319</td><td>0.187</td></tr></table>
Looks like the image-to-text conversion treated the 7482 as 1482. There may be a few more errors like that.
I know I had 2500 posts on 6/11/09, and I'm pretty sure I also received my first rep (from Lady_Di) for this post. I'm guessing I'm somewhere in the 0.165-0.175 rep per post range.
told y'all Clutch would be hands down the #1 in the Rep Era. but, Like I always try to tell you...your stats always lack sumpin... and in this case, there is one person missing from your #54 intensity matric. hmmmm....who could that be, and why.
If you're referring to yourself, its because I didn't see your name in the table that Clutch posted in 2009.
'xactly. I had 0 rep then, so I fell off that list tied at 36,715th place, easily making me the worst poster in your Poster Efficiency Rating stat.. Not sure what my post count was. I claim y'all got a headstart, and no one told me.
Maybe one day ill make the list... Because some say I'm the hero Clutchfans deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, they'll hunt me, because I can take it. Because I'm not our hero. I'm a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Clutchfan Knight.
A true efficiency stat would require something more than simply rep points earned and post count. Posters that engage in lengthy back-and-forth conversation will not accumulate rep in proportion to their post count, even if their "post quality" stays constant. If there was a way to estimate how many unique "conversations" a poster engaged in, where a conversation is a string of posts made in a single thread over a fixed period of time, then probably Rep/conversation would be a better measure of quality than Rep/post. Probably an adjustment for reputation points earned should also be considered. For instance, reputation from repeat users should be weighted significantly less.
Clutch needs to hire durvasa to develop a proprietary statistical analysis system to rate poster performance. Some contribution categories: Quality of discussion Information Basketball knowledge CBA/Rule Book/Contract/ knowledge Humor Graphics/Images/Photoshp Computer knowledge Tipjar contribution Then Clutch can use the metrics to ban, trade, give special privileges, or recruit as crew to posters.
Easy, Don't forget the negative stats Neg reps Thread killer Thread ball hog Locked threads (both because of horrible threads and repeating threads) No link to source Wrong forum Troll revealed Shouting in all caps And too many smileys Durvasa needs the equivalent of a SportsVu camera. A ClutchVu
We need that one guy to come back that posted the list a few years ago of the best posters on the bbs. I think his list was more accurate and had more science behind it, mainly because I was on it.
I admit it. I was blood doping when I achieved Hakeem status. 12,000 posts in 2 years was like 5 times my previous average.
I am under the impression that all top 100 posters get a 30 day contract with the Rockets this season. Is that still happening?
