Confirmed no gain of function funds. Bipartisan work with both Biden and tRump. Stay engaged sending thousands of emails. Showed humility by backing off his statement about masks not helping. He airballed much of the rest of it but you cant discount his effort. We are not worthy.
I think he did the best job he could, under the circumstances (having to work with Trumpers during a pandemic).
From my perspective, his comments are brave, and coming from his trusted voice, will help dispel the myths being spun around the virus’s origins.
I really hated when he told everyone to drink bleach and stick an ultraviolet light wand up our asses.
Other than the initial recommendation to not wear mask, he did a good job. I know why he did it but I could have told people to make them like most people did instead of getting the n95 masks.
Does this have to do with leaked emails that 99% of my Facebook friends didn't actually read and were told through some memes how to think about them?
I'm getting vague references to something like this, but no content linked or what's it about. Guess I'll wait for the fake news debunking articles
Yeah...the excuse was they didn't want to people hoarding them so that first responders had the access they needed. They could certainly have suggested folks make them, but there still would have been a run on the n95s and others.
Yea, the trump defenders are still trying to justify trump's response to COVID-19 by attacking Dr. Fauci.
My memory may be fuzzy, since it was at least a year ago, but I seem to recall there were all sorts of "how to make masks" instructions at the time.
he could have made n95 masks only available to first responders which is what happened. That recommendation is partially to blame for the poltical fiasco that that mask became.
Once they officially suggested and/or mandated masks, I had no problem (except cost) with getting N95 masks. There is a single point of failure with regards to why it became a political fiasco, and he's no longer in office.
