With Tom Brady upset with his situation in New England, do you think the Texans would attempt to acquire him and would you be interested in having him? O'Brien and Brady worked together in New England, and Brady could help mentor Mallett and Savage.

The only question is if this is still an issue:

This team isn't close enough to contending to really get the benefit of acquiring a 37 year old Brady. The Texans need to focus on finding their QB of the future.

Mallett and Savage don't need a mentor. Neither is going to be a franchise QB in the league.

Maybe we can send them Ryan Mallett in exchange.

i disagree. they can compete for a playoff spot with a competent QB. Brady will have more talent around him here than he has had for the majority of his career in NE

Can you give me the next 10 sets of winning lottery tickets while you're looking in to the future?

Agreed... Give us a top 10 QB and I would expect us to be in the AFC Championship game.

Wouldn't rule it out. If Brady actually leaves the Pats (which is doubtful), I bet he comes here.

Wouldn't be a terrible idea depending on what they'd have to give up.

At the time Manning was coming off neck surgery and many thought he would op out for retirement. Denver took a risk signing him to that huge contract and it has payed off for them big time. Can't blame someone for being skeptical.

I would do it. This team needs a stabilizing force at QB. We don't need them to be exceptional every game. Tom Brady would do that for us. I'm about winning now. Otherwise, we waste the remaining years of Andre Johnson, Foster, Watt, Cushing trying to look for a young QB. It wouldn't happen this year, but next year something like this is plausible. I say do it!

If the Patriots decide to move on next season and go with Garoppolo it's a possibility. That is if Brady wants to play a few more years. He's also 37 years old and most of the all time great QB's have historically already fallen off by that age. He's honestly about done, but I'd take him over Fitz.

This is simply ridiculous, is the theory that the Pats are going to eat 32 mil worth of dead money to get rid of Brady?
