I said I was looking to make a trade not dismantle my whole team. But between both of your trades I flip my whole team over, so what the hell.

Getting a fresh start for the second half Rob? LoL [IMG]

You should have more balanced scoring now, instead of 1 or 2 guys doing all your scoring.

Delk will improve on that 25 now that Penny is done for the year. If Croshere ever comes around you will be solid at SF.

Man.. what is with all these lopsided trades...

All the good teams seem to be getting better except for mine and Behad's. [IMG] [IMG]

Maybe I should try to swing a deal with the Mofos or something. (Van Horn and Shareef for Christie and Lenard maybe.. that would fit in with the recent trades, anyway)

Lopsided? Look at the averages. I gave him more points than I am getting.

You were upset with the Ewing for Marion trade too. Look how that turned out.

Oh, puh-lease..

You get a top five PF and a top ten SG (which was your only real weak position) for giving up one semi half-decent PF and three benchwarmers. [IMG]

As for Marion-Ewing, I certainly wasn't the only one wrong about that!

This one is a no-brainer, though.

Smeg---

There's is still over half of the year left. I am 12 games back of DoD. I had both trades on the table and I decided to do them, because both of them combined help my team. I have 5 soon to be 6 game losing streak. I thought I would do something rather than just sit on my ass with 3 good players and lose every game.

The question is, which team would you rather have:

Team A

Brian Grant
Austin Croshere
Tony Delk
Ron Harper
Ben Wallace
Larry Johnson
Chucky Atkins
John Stockton

Team B

Karl Malone
Ron Mercer
Scottie Pippen
Michael Dickerson
Damon Stoudamire
Howard Eisley

Team B looks pretty good. Team A doesn't.

If team B is so good, why have they lost 6 in a row? Is anyone looking at this from Rob's perspective? His team is not winning at all. He posted he would like to trade. Did you get any other offers Rob?

Trading away franchise players for scrubs certainly won't help things. The way to improve a team is:

1.) Scour the waiver wire looking for deals. (ie: Bonzi Wells, Jeff McInnis, Chris Whitney, etc..)

2.) Trade if it will improve the team, but hold onto your big guns (Malone, Walker, Payton, Garnett, etc..) unless you are getting a big gun in return.

With the old team Rob was 7-16. I don't see that record improving any with the new squad.

Of course, I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Thanks a lot, fadeaway. [IMG]

But you are right. The makeup of my team is such that I would have to gut it to get a stud scorer. I don't see how that helps me.

BTW, everyone, I've been super busy lately and have not kept up well. If anyone has trades to offer, send me an email.

Smeg: 6-7 yr. old co-ed team took their first loss today, while 8-9 yr. old boys got their first win.

10-11 yr. old boys have to play two today.
Currently, overall record is 4-3. I'll update after these next two games. How's your teams doing?

Have you looked at the waiver list lately? There is no one, I repeat, no one that is going to turn a team around.

The only way to improve a team is through trade.
