We're winning. T-Mac could be playing exactly how he's playing right now, and if we were losing all these games he'd be blasted for it.

pretty clear that pre championships they'd have no 'Dream' love ... the endless 'Hakeem is no leader, Patterson is right, trade Hakeem for a bowl of cereal" etc would be commonplace. brighter spot, i guess, pre Drexler, there wouldn't be any worthwhile "only fans".

and the fans back then echoing those discordant notes would still trump today's fan loyalty in spades.

some call it progress.

Yep. T-Mac could be doing exactly what he is now, but if guys are missing open shots or blowing easy layups, people would lay it all on T-Mac.
