Or if CP3 misses the 2019 playoffs with an injury. Don't count your eggs before they hatch.....the irony of course is that it's been Harden holding this team back in Jan while WB has been stepping up.
Can Russ play a perimeter game? I like what Russ is doing for the team right now. But we are not two-first-round-picks better than with Paul. That's abundantly clear.
call me crazy but we can turn Capela into Aron Baynes and another 3&D player this team would be championship caliber. A center that can stretch defenses like Baynes would be the perfect complement to Russ
I like this. PG - Harden, Rivers SG - BMac, Gordon SF - Tucker, House PF - Baynes, Tucker C - Westbrook (no need for backup) Championship team!
I'm not hating on Russ. I'm just saying that CP has been relatively healthy this year and Russ has sat out quite a few games
You are right. But I feel that's a bit reactionary considering people were hating on Cp3 last year for the very same reason they are hating on WB this year. And if they were both signed to 1 year deals I'd def feel the same way but they're not, they are signed to 4 year deals CP3 playing great this year doesn't change the fact his contract is pretty toxic. WB isn't even that bad anymore he now has 52.6% TS% and positive win shares and plus minus. Dude's contributing to the team wins and is no longer the dead weight people are claiming him to be.
You're right, CF is going to complain no matter what. One think I love about Russ is his heart and competitive fire. CP was a competitor as well, but Russ just kicks it into overdrive. He may play out of control at times, but you can SEE the desire to win.
I was not a fan of the trade but this never even once crossed my mind as a possibility. Complete failure of a season
