    Lock if already posted....

Pretty interesting interview with Zach Lowe and a former Thunder analytics expert. Hard to picture that team without Westbrook...

if that happened they probably would have kept Harden...may have been a better team too. Brook can straight up ball.

Either way good for us though since they traded him away.

Yeah, honestly Brook Lopez isn't that bad, he's just overpaid.I said it before but he's on Joakim Noah level, at around 10M a year he'd actually be a decent player.

If OKC drafted Lopez then might actually be a better team, with Lopez already on board they wouldn't have to sign Perkins, and with Ibaka being a defensive/rebounding beast he'd be the perfect complement to Lopez's offensive ability. If they actually had a pass first pg then maybe there'd be room for Harden, Lopez, Ibaka and KD to all co-exist.

And maybe they keep Jeff green.

    PG-?
    SG-Harden
    SF-Kd/green
    PF-ibaka/green
    C-Lopez

    Thats a better squad

superficially looking at it, I wouldn't be surprised.

Would you rather go with the athletic 7 footer or the shooting guard who will have to convert into a pg at the next level?

    Hindsight is always 20/20 brahs

Brook isn't as good of an interview as Donatello though.

Keeping Jeff Green means Harden never takes over the 2nd unit and Ibaka is stuck on the bench.

    Butterfly wings!

Did the Rockets seriously draft Nicolas Batum in the 2008 draft and trade him to PORTLAND?!???

Yeah, for Donte Greene and Joey Dorsey.

Greene was then traded to the Kings for Ron Artest.

Joey Dorsey eventually was traded to the Kings involving Kevin Martin.

After his +40 +/- game, the real shame is that they traded him.

Our team would be complete with Batum. He's one of my favorite players

i was watching the OKC game last night with the jazz, that game was physical. but anyways, i would take westbrook over lopez. but damn westbrook was doing some stupid **** on the court last night. the guy literally catches a pass, drops the ball, and jumps up/throws his hands up in the air trying to get a call. and then he looks at the ref like WTF? more like his teammates were like WTF?

WORST move in Morey's tenure bar none. Good thing he drafted Parsons who is just as good but way cheaper lol.

Anyway back on topic I'm not a fan of Westbrook. He's really a SG but he gets overrated because he plays the pg position because he's too short so rather than get matched up with 6'5/6'6 guys nightly he goes up against 6'0-6'3 guys like Chris Paul and Steve Nash.

I mean let's face it, a lot of the reason WestBrook is seen as a good player is because he plays on a team with no big man scorers and a superstar who thrives in catch-and-shoot plays. this masks his weaknesses and highlights his strengths, because then he can chuck up all he wants and hit "big shots".

If he actually played his real position and on a non-contending team then I think he'll just be at Tyreke Evan's level with good-to-great defense. Decent, no where near worth the max.

Worst move? It turned into Ron Ron and it was a win now move. Plus now way do I want Batum on my squad making the money he gets. Way overpaid.
