Adams was pretty big for them in terms of defense and rebounding, but without him they would've ran with the small ball lineup anyway which could've been something like Westbrook Harden Roberson Durant Ibaka which would've dominated.
3 guys that can go off for 40 any given night. Of course they beat gsw. Hell if they had kept Reggie Jackson I think they win that series
I've said it in one of the Harden threads. If Harden played like Ray Allen, they would have won a championship already. But Harden is Harden, so either he or Westbrook would have to come off the bench.
Yeah I mean they are completely different players. If Dwight played like Hakeem we could have won a championship too.
With Harden they might have gotten worse since they do lose the big men defense and second opportunities. The Thunder lost because of poor decision making. Westbrook is just an awful point guard when his athletic game isn't working. He can't really make plays at all.
They would have had at least one chip by now and would have beaten GSW hands down. Their refusal to amnesty Perkins and give Harden what he asked for will go down as one of the worst decisions in NBA history.
Not the same. Hakeem was an elite offensive player. Dwight has never been on that level. Harden and Allen are both elite offensive players, just in vastly different styles. One might even argue that Harden is better on offense individually. Dwight has never been close to Hakeem on offense individually.
if you have harden still on this team that means you dont get Adams, Without Adams, you have no chance, even with Harden.
