I forgot about that - My wife was in the park with her brothers and sisters celebrating her birthday and suddenly she began to freak out and demanded that they all leave and go home. The Bomb went off less than 30 minutes later. They ended up being interviewed by the FBI during the investigation.

I didn't know anything about this, but... 1945 - A B-25D bomber crashed into the 79th and 80th floor on the north side of the Empire State Building at 9:40 a.m. in a weather related accident. The air crew of 3, along with 11 people in the building, were killed. Kind of eerie when you think about what happened 56 years later right down the street....
