Well done, ElGee/Ben hit on a lot of his strengths and weaknesses pretty accurately.

You gotta love how many descriptors are needed to explain who Alperen Sengun actually is. He's honest, fair, and needs a lot of words to harness our beloved Al-P.

    Thesis:

"I think Alperen Sengun is already a good offensive player..."

Good assessment guy. Jesus Christ. 7th best isolation player in the NBA at age 20. No ****...

I had him pegged as an elite bench player due to his defensive limitations.

Building around him is not a good idea, but may be the best option we have.

I think he nailed it, very strong scouting report. Sengun's offensive floor is probably Sabonis. If Sengun's shot develops, he could be extraordinary. Defense? I don't know, but his block rate is three times that of Sabonis. And even now DARKO has him as a very slight minus (-0.1) rather than the disaster as most NBA writers suggest.

I'm really excited to see he's improving at that 3pt shot. I'm almost certain he's going to be competitively respectable from 3pt range next season which raises his ceiling tremendously.

At some point earlier in the season he was not in a good place, still fouling too much, complaining too much, getting frustrated too often. Something changed at some point and he just decided to focus on what he can control and it has elevated his game and his consistency.
