The funny thing, crenshaw tweeted about this from his official account and from his personal (this) account. The one from his official account was weaker. But I do give crenshaw credit for speaking up. I'd guess being a military vet contributed to his decision.

I had a little bit of hope that Crenshaw would be a shining light for the GOP, not just supporting Trump at all cost like the rest of them. He represents almost all of Kingwood even though my house is about 100 yards north of his district. Unfortunately, if you keep up with his facebook/twitter posts.....he's just like the rest of them. Most of his posts just talk about how the democrats are socialist, want open borders, are antisemitic, want to kill babies, and he even mentioned "partisan investigations" the other day. So yeah.....he's really no different than Kevin Brady (my rep). They'll both support Trump in 2020.
I thought the same way about him, especially after the local gop blasted him as being an Obama supporter when running against Wall. In Tx if you're a republican and someone calls you an Obama supporter, them fighting words. I thought he would be humble after that trashing by his own party but he turned out to be more like rafael "ted" cruz with more testosterone.
Hopefully this is not true or based on a miscommunication... and trump/spokesperson can assure American citizens in Puerto Rico that Washington is not abandoning them...
