Kenny did pick us...he never says anything when Charles goes on his weekly "Rockets are not good enough" rants.

    As for the Jazz...

Cheaters never win and winners never cheat.

Also the clock thing, that's not about no respect.

If anything they respected the Rockets because they felt they had to cheat to win. But that's just cheating, we know the Jazz do it every night on thier home floor though by constant fouling, flopping, and numerous other little things.

You know, after hearing those two do a few minutes of one game this season, I wonder if both sides would like to set up a once a year broadcast where both Jim and Gene would announce a game. Maybe even have it on a retro night?

You have more access to folks than I do. What do you think?

i want to know how the national media reacted to this. i remember the moment and how i felt, but i can't recall what the nba thought of it. i think it's b/c i didn't have cable at the time.

i'd forgotten Chambers was a Jazz for a while- i always think of him on the suns. other than Bird, is there a white guy that's played a significant role in NBA that hasn't been a member of the Jazz at least for a game or two in his career?

    matt maloney i suppose.

I love how they continually refer to Jazz fans as 'those people'.

lol. If you're gonna count Maloney then I guess Bob Sura, Jason Williams, Brad Miller, Jon and Brent, Chris Kaman (although it is impossible to play a "significant role" on the Clippers), Dirk Nowitski, Steve Nash, Dunleavy, Hinrich, Blake, Mike Miller, Walton, David Lee, Murphy, etc... and that's just the past 3-4 years.

I think your criteria are flawed though:
    1. Significant role (extremely vague.. Wafer plays a significant role on our team, for example)
    2. Played a game or 2 for the Jazz (lame.. given how much players move around, its dumb to discount part of the already low 15%ish of the NBA that's white just because they suited up for the Jazz once)

So in the end, I don't know why I responded to this post, because it doesnt mean anything. :D

i didn't realize he had until i saw this thread last year. i couldn't even tell it was him in the video until i looked up #42 on the roster. the shot he gets off is friggin' hilarious. loses it and just volleyballs it up to the backboard. classic jazz, utlimately they always fail in the playoffs.

hmmm... maybe he thinks that there weren't any good white players in the NBA during the Stockton-Malone Utah Jazz era besides Larry Bird  . just from Chamber's era, you had half the Celtics (Bird, McHale, Walton, Ainge), Mark Price, Jack Sikma, Paul Westphal, Bill Laimbeer, Chris Mullin, Detlef Schrempf, Rik Smits, Dan Majerle, huhmuna huhmuna huhmuna, actually a lot of the good white players did play for the Jazz (Maravich, Stockton, Eaton, Tripucka, Hornacek, and Chambers and now Kirilenko, Okur and Harpring).

I hope he does. That is some strong hate to hate a team losses and wins. That is the sort of hate, you have to respect... unless you are an even stronger hater.

There is something known as Karma.

And dirty Jazz's time to face the music will eventually come.
