What a hell of a ball player. Under appreciated I think. Good luck in retirement to him

 

Great player, teammate and person. Would love to have him on the coaching staff

 

Just a fun player to root for.

 

Every time I see that clip, I watch like 10 times just for the crescendo of the crowd. So satisfying.

 

One of the best signings we've done.

 

I think Yuli, Brantley, and Uncle Charlie are the best free agent signings we've done in recent history. Charlie is the one we should have resigned. Could have possibly had 2 more trophies if we did.

 

Man, just an absolute pleasure to watch this guy hit. I know he's had his health issues and I wish we had gotten to see more of him during his time with the Astros, but I feel very fortunate for what we did get to witness. Thanks, Uncle Mike!

 

Damn shame his body just wouldn't cooperate consistently.

Nothing but respect, one of the best hit tools of this generation, and seemingly one of the best dudes off the field.

 

Hats off to him for a hell of a career. Appreciate the time here Uncle Mike!

 

Let this dude come coach hitting in between kids' birthdays and holidays.
