That was a different version of the same painting. There are four versions, I believe, all originals.
I guess of forgot to put a smiley face and a sarcastic face in my post. Or maybe you wouldn't have taken my post so seriously if I mentioned space aliens?
A theory now mentioned is that this was wanted/ordered by the same crew that had a big robbery (money) in Stavanger earlier this year to make the police get a bigger workload and take some heat off them. Norwegian TV2 say they have known of a rumour of a spectacular robbery of symbolic value for 2 weeks now. They now have sources saying this is said robbery and the amateur robbers was paid off by the Stavanger gang. In addition they could hope for a ransom for the paintings. I think someone on maybe BBC even called them stupid, but could have been another network.
