Oh? What about those 2nd seeded teams in 1988, 1996, and 2003??? And why do have such extensive knowledge of every 2 seed in history? Seems like quite a waste of brain space.
2008 Tennessee Titans - #1 seed 2004 Atlanta Falcons - #2 seed The Texans aren't the worst team on this list, even going by talent or pure statistics.
I don't think his comment was meant to be taken as a fact as much as just saying we haven't beat many good teams or great quarterbacks, so our record is bigger than it seems.
As much as I hate looking forward like that, could you imagine the insanity this city would be feeling hosting the AFC Championship game for the first time since ever? Nothing that particular poster ever says should ever be taken seriously in the slightest.
Eagles are beating the Rams handedly.. gonna be a tough one for sure. May need some luck but can’t see the Pats losing another
Eagles are going to be a tough tough game. But no one ever said getting a bye week was going to be easy. Texans better have their A game. This is a Playoff game for us.
Texans got to think of it like this do they want to play on the road in a potential divisional game or at home this game is prolly the biggest in Franchise history
Texans are the second seed in the AFC. Just keep winning and finish 12-4, first round bye, and home field, right?
What is the scenario in which Houston gets the number 1 seed? Are there other paths than just the Chiefs losing out? For the record, I am fully expecting a loss in Philadelphia, particularly after just seeing that they beat the Rams.
If the Chiefs lose just enough, wouldn't the Chargers then get the 1st seed (assuming they don't lose out)?
Common opponents with KC & SD (next tiebreaker if Conference records are the same): Chiefs: 4-1; Texans: 4-1 with 1 left against Jax Chargers: 3-1 with 1 left against Broncos; Texans 4-1 Not sure how it works if there's an unequal number of games (I'd assume 5-1 wins over 4-1?) Next tiebreaker after that is the record of the teams you beat; I would think the Texans lose that one to just about anybody. We are all Raiders/Ravens/Seahawks/Broncos fans the next 2 weeks.
If conference record is the first tiebreaker (since we didn't play head to head), we need KC to lose to the Raiders. A loss to the Seahawks but not the Raiders gives KC a better conference record than us (assuming we were to win out).
