For all you Brewer bashers, maybe you should give him more credit. In game 1 he was 1 of 8 yes, but KJ was 2 of 9, and out of the entire team only Harden and Howard scored more than 9 points. Yes, his 3 pt shots has become almost extinct, and he shouldn't take so many shots.............but

Brewer had more assists than Harden, Beverly, and KJ combined!
Brewer had more rebounds than DMO, Harden, and Smith combined!

He certainly wasn't the reason we lost that game. He helps out where others don't. That is why it is a team sport.

I just don't know what happened to the guy. Up until end of last season, he was a good player. Then, he signs his damn contract and his offense goes up in smoke. Yes, he plays better defense than the majority of the other role players on this team. But, it's like someone amputated his shooting arm and put another arm on him that is totally non-cooperative with him in every shooting situation. I just don't get it. It's puzzling.

Brewer should not be in the starting lineup. Rotate the small forward position with Ariza as starter and McDaniels coming off the bench.

Pretty well disguised handle. Props to JB, or "deb", for that.

I wish Corey Brewer was the problem. The it would have an easy fix. At this point, I'm not convinced there are too many players on our roster that aren't a big part of the problem. Ship them all out but Capela, Harrell and McDaniels and start over.

I wouldn't care if this was just out of the ordinary but he's been doing this all season long. He deserves the bashing. JB is insane to keep trying to make him work. He doesn't.

Idk, I have been watching brewers defense closely and he just runs around and allows his man to get passed him a lot. His defense to me is highly overrated because he takes too many risks. I mean I don't think he has guarded anyone particularly well all season.

KJ on the other hand has been amazing on defense. I hope we get Thibs so he can use KJ to his full defensive potential.

kj is a young inexperienced player who needs to be eased into the rotation, not expected to "turn it on" whenever coach feels like it. i dont wanna explain this further cuz it should be obvious

Come playoffs the regular season doesn't matter. I am talking playoffs people, and Brewer contributed where others don't.

this thread is the epitome of a clutchfans classic moment.

the plus side is that he will likely be jettisoned the heck out of here in the off season.

Just saying.......LOL. In game 1 NOBODY looked great. Yes, we need some better players on this team, but I was talking what the players we do have brought to the playoffs yesterday. It doesn't matter how good or bad our players were before this moment. It is what they are going to do game 2. Our first half game was hard to stomach, and it was all catch up playing after that.
