Krassensteins? No, this was a tweet by Kori Schake, the Deputy-Director General of the International Institute for Strategic Studies. She was previously a research fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution. And before that she was an adviser to the McCain campaign. Also has experience in GWB's Pentagon, NSC, and State Department. I don't know her political affiliation, but the fact she worked for GWB and McCain and even identified her as being "on the other team", I'd guess she is a republican.

Pretty much a perfect response to her suggesting the President postpone the SOTU address.

 

Actually, no. That is what Pelosi and the Democrats are looking for. And on these appropriations bills, until Trump arrived, that was the routine behavior of Congressional Republicans. But not anymore.

Now there needs to be a negotiation, with compromise by all parties. Yes, that even includes the Democrats and Nancy Pelosi.

 

I am pretty sure that Pelosi would trade a good DACA bill for 100+ miles of border wall in BFE Texas. Trump won't make that deal, since his base hates DCA as much as they love The Wall.
