Yeah I got the idea from the commercial. What living person would you like to hang out with just to pick their brain? Personally 3 people come to mind: Arnold Schwartzenegger - Decided to be a bodybuilder, became the best bodybuilder ever. Decided to get into movies, became the biggest movie star in the world. Decided to get into politics, became the Governer of California. Don't like his politics, but I respect his gangsta. Oprah Winfrey - An overweight, black woman who grew up dirt poor and became a billionaire and the queen of American media. Eric Stefani - The guy was a keyboardist for No Doubt and an animator for The Simpsons. That's prolific. Any more?
This is funny. I just met Glen Rice in the Miami airport today...just hanging out. He is really cool/nice to meet. I couldn't help but recall that thread where Another Brother met Glen Rice, and I'm pretty sure he met him in the Miami airport as well. I was so tempted to ask Rice if he remembers meeting a rockets fan/comedian and his wife in this airport, but decided not to just in case I was wrong.
Jenna Jameson - she literally turned the p*rn world upside.. It's actually respectable in some sense and has become a lucrative entertainment business.. * - 1st to , make millions not only in movie contracts but in advertising and merchandise? but too bad she messed up her fine figure to go the look of a 3rd world country girl in the desert.
Oprah Winfrey - Simply amazing the power she's gained through a friggin talk show. Daryl Morey - he looks like a guy I would have do my taxes, B-ball GM of the year award was the last thing i was expecting... Mr. Bush - What a C student can do.... Jessica Alba - For some reason my interest in her never goes away...
I met Glen Rice at the airport as well, albeit the Houston airport. This was when he was with the Rockets. He's a super-nice guy. What is this thread about? Edit: Oh yeah. I have no idea. People in general irritate me.
1. Bill Clinton (if he could talk freely) I think would be VERY interesting. 2. Nelson Mandela 3. Sam Jackson would also be really interesting. Did you know he was an usher at MLK funeral? He's been around. Bono, Paul McCartney and Oprah would be good choices. I was about to say Ray Chalres but I forgot he died in 2004. Muhamad Ali if he was in better health.
Tom Ford has to get my vote. The man has turned everything he touched into gold. Spike Jonze is also another one. He's a director, writer, editor, and that's all I know. This quote completely applies. From Blow: George: I'm good at what I do. George's Dad: You would've been good at anything you did.
I need to ask AJ if he is really doubtful for this weekend or if its just to keep the Colts in limbo.
Sting - I'd love to get the dirt on the early days of The Police and see how he came up with the ideas for a lot of my favorite songs. Mario Elie - He seems so laid back and easy-going. I'd love to hear about what it was like during those championship runs. Lee Harvey Oswald - Did you do it or not? No, really... did you do it? Just between you and me. You can tell me. What have you got to lose now? You're dead. Just tell me...
Robert De Niro - my favorite actor of all-time John Elway - my favorite athlete of all-time Stanley Kubrick (yea I know he's dead) - my favorite movie director of all-time
