They adjusted and had him bringing up the ball and sharing PG duties with KPJ. He looked great this game, with developed playmaking skills he'll become devastating with time. I think he's a combo guard who needs the ball in his hands and it improves his rhythm. He's been the man at all levels he's played before this so it makes sense he's comfortable there.
My scientific analysis has told me that Jalen Green is a great young player it has also told me that making a “Jalen Green is a bust” thread after one game is stupid as hell Time to keep building that chemistry
He has played pretty well in every game If you have watched closely. His defensive positioning, the deflections, the overall effort, and vet demeanor. It's amazing how good of a defender he is right now with his overall physical weakness. Clearly, that beautiful jumper of his will start falling. Be patient. A couple of years in an NBA weight room and he is going to be a 2-way star. A true 1st option, the only one in his draft class. Sengun will arrive too. Verrrrrry soon.
His defense was much better, still getting pushed around bad but you can tell he’s concentrating and realizing it’s a weakness and that’s all you can ask for at this stage. I hope he’s really a dead eye shooter, it’ll make the rest of his game easy to expand off of that. He also is a better playmaker than kpj, he needs to get some of the playmaking reins by year 2-3. I don’t care if it’s his rookie year I wanna see 20 ppg! Let’s get it green!
“Criticizing” isn’t inherently negative. LeBron James had criticisms of his game his rookie year. You cant escape critique.
