Has anyone seen this yet - without spoiling it - what did you think? I'll admit - this movie was not on my radar at all. I dismissed it as yet another bland horror film being dumped at the end of the summer. Boy, was I wrong. This film is dark as hell - highly creepy. It's obvious that director Joel Edgerton watched a lot of South Korean thrillers in preparation for making this movie. Park Chan-wook would be proud. For everybody else - I can't wait for you guys to watch this movie. It's going to knock your socks off.- Robert Saucedo <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/gzWd71frxhY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
It gets a 1/10 from me. These stupid new age horror films are stupid. Did I mention they're stupid? Stupid I say.
Wow! high praise. I'm still going with Ex-Machina. ALthough the gift was pretty good. A slow burner and could pass for pg-13.
Is this a horror thriller flick? Park Chan Wook was known for that sprinkled with a tad of black humor.
It's not a horror movie; it's a suspense drama. And the less you know about it going in, the more you'll enjoy it.
just got back from seeing it...very well done. agreed with kim...not a horror flick..more suspense/thriller. its solid, would recommend
NO need for one dude. There's a staff that offers hospitality, kinda like going to someone's house for movie night. The Alamo is built for movie geeks. You have a full wait staff and a kitchen staff, reserve seating. When was the last shooting at the Alamo? Yeah my thoughts exactly.
