You're underplaying the mental fragility and decline of Trump in all this. 400 days is a long time for the fate of the Republic to basically be resting on bureaucrats knowing to ignore the Mad King's orders like hanging members of the state department, building alligator filled moats, buying Greenland, and etc ad nauseum. . He is mentally unwell, he will get unweller. There is a chance he will be so unwell that he will be removed or have a stroke or psychotic break or whatever, or that the impeachment inquiry induces even more heinous, criminal conduct It's not a high chance, but it's a statstically significant one.

Not embraced kooky conspiracy theories about Joe Biden ... He would probably be waltzing to re-election against basically any candidate, even with kids in cages and a trade war and the related economic turbulence. I mean, he may still win in 2020, but it won't be easy, and he may get impeached before then. Nixon was a different case, but he too clearly did waltz to re-election, but was so obsessed with his perceived competition that he went the criminal route to spy on them. LOL.

At this point Trump is just begging for some foreign country, some dictator, or just anyone to manufacture something against Biden. Maybe he can turn to his little buddy in North Korea.
