Ehh things can change but Barr may have bigger concerns to worry about based on the last week. He is square in line to take the blame for recent events.

Anyone claiming to know the future is lying, as things can change quickly -but right now Barr needs to be concerned as his ethics and possible cover up involvement could bury him.

Right now he is square in the middle of the Ukraine quagmire and in soliciting help to discredit the Mueller Report.

It sure seems like there is a lot of push back the closer this thing gets to coming to a head, we’ll see how it all plays out. Nobody said draining the swamp was going to be easy and to be honest I don’t see it happening, too deep.

Brilliant analysis. Ignore the evidence, including admissions from Ukraine, Australia, and Trump himself. List off a bunch of boogeymen (Medicare, social justice, the size of the government relative to the economy...38% sounds like a a lot!). Talk about SCOTUS appointments, probably the number one reason people held their noses and voted for Trump. Defend Reagan and Bush. Mention Squad and Soros. Barr is going to drop bombshells.

It's like bowl of conveniently overlooked facts and rote talking points spaghetti thrown on my monitor.

It was nice of them to squeeze almost every single gimmick they use into one tidy article.

I love how Trump likes to throw the term treason around.

If anything, the whistleblower is more a hero. I think anyone and everyone has been looking for a Trump slipup to have legitimacy to his ousting.

If anyone is committing treason, it's the guy trying to yield his power to monopolize the power of our Democracy. I'm known to be a Trump hater, that's fine. I don't like the guy. Never had. I didn't vote Democrat either because Hillary sucked too. But this guy is an absolute danger to our country and every day that he is in power is another day of potential peril.

Let's be clear - I don't know if impeachment is the right option because it'll take too long, but the election needs to hurry up and get here. I'm still baffled by how stupid the majority of the country is.

And now Pompeo is saying his people have to prepare to testify?

Prepare for what? Just tell the truth....unless they are PREPARING to continue to cover it up.

If Trump gets impeached, you better believe he is going scorched earth before he leaves. He will take almost everyone that he can with him. Pence definitely will be one of them.

If Trump really has committed impeachable and removable offenses, then yes.

At that point it is about saving the machinery of the USA system.

This would hold true for any President.

As far as Mike Pence is concerned, I like his politics less than Donald Trump but if he has not committed any offenses, then under our system he is next in line to be President and he would fill the office and decide whether he would run in 2020.
