The best trade we could do

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    2001/02 Trade Checker
    B E T A

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Houston trades: Walt Williams $5,000,000 to Portland
Houston trades: Kelvin Cato $6,048,000 to Portland
Houston trades: Glen Rice $8,800,000 to Portland
Houston trades: Kenny Thomas $946,920 to Portland
Houston trades: Moochie Norris $4,538,000 to Portland
Houston trades: Cash Considerations of $3,000,000 to Portland
    TOTAL: $25,332,920

Portland trades: Rod Strickland $700,000 to Houston
Portland trades: Bonzi Wells $2,028,240 to Houston
Portland trades: Priest Lauderdale $565,850 to Houston
Portland trades: Scottie Pippen $14,466,851 to Houston
Portland trades: Dale Davis $7,010,000 to Houston
    TOTAL: $24,770,941

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Portland being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Portland had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This trade also make perfect sense beacuse bonzi and derek cant play togther and they also need a true center ( Cato ?:D ) . They need more pure shooters like rice and walt williams with the new rules and moochie would complete stoudmire game . They also get rid of pippen and his huge contract + they earn kenny thomas .

we get from this deal Davis great player that Would play 5 for us , we also get another superstar bonzi wells he could play at 3 he got amazing all around game . We loose moochie but we earn Strickland (he is a true point gurad ,great passer ), the best pg backup we could get. Also when kenny will be gone thats give Griffin more PT , The bad news is that we get Scottie with his huge contract but we could put him it IR or something and by 2003 when there are all the big free agents we would have 25 million (all the big contracts are gone) to get the best players in the leauge (Tim Duncan ).

Our lineup will be like this

    D.Davis \ Collier
    Mo-t \ Griffin
    Bonzi \Morris\Pipen
    Cat\Langhi
    Franchise\Strickland

we could be serious contenders with this lineup

All I said was that "I THINK" Strickland is a free agent and you added him to the trade, yes or no? Ok, then. And you want to correct me, then you should correct your grammer on #2. Also, how old are you because you want me to shut up while watching what I am talking about as I am TYPING this stuff rather then saying it with my mouth. Whow. Ok, I am sorry for offending Stupidity and irrational behavior here.

And also, who wants Pippen back on this team??????

I'm really sorry about what i said before , and without pipen in the deal we couldnt have dale and bonzi (cap situation), but pipen can still play good defence and gurad most of the 2 guards in the league (not like mobley) and his contract will be expired in 2 years (rice in 3 years ) and then we would be able to bring some serious superstars .But this is just a dream trade that 99% wont happen so forget about it .

    It doesn't matter.

Do you not remember what he did to this team?

After all, it was pretty recent, just two years ago.

That was a deep wound, that won't be completely healed for at least a couple more seasons.

Pippen is the AntiChrist to the average Rocket Fan.

i would rather trade francis, mobely, griffin, rice and MoT to detroit for the rights to BISON DELE, than take Scottie Pippen back.

From one professional Rocket baller to the next. This will never happen, so let's not discuss this r we bored or what. Bottom line I wouldn't want Pippen koolaid heart pumping butt for Jason Collier straight up.

    That's IT!!!!!!

    We need Bison Dele

    Detroit gets:

    1. Rights to Granville Waiters

    Rocks get:

    1. Rights to Bison Dele

    Salaries match up:

    Bison - $6.75 / hr. Granville - $6.95 / hr.

    Starting team:

    1 Steve

    2 Cat

    3 Rice

    4 Mo

    5 Bison

Hey, it's more realistic than the crap that started this thread :p
