Im going to say this reading these votes speak volumes about some of your basketball knowledge. Curry ginobli Marion vs Walker Green Batum. Outside scoring yung T. The outside scoring is closer but add ellis and morris vs jamers bench and its not close.

Duncan Pekovic vs West Noah. Inside scoring Jamers. However you voted complete opposite. Makes zero damn sense.

People could mean different things with inside / outside scoring.

To me, inside scoring is any scoring inside the paint. It doesn't matter if it's bigs or little guys. Like, Harden gets inside and draws a bunch of fouls. That's inside scoring. But Kevin Love taking long jumpers is outside scoring to me, it doesn't matter that he's a big man.

Then you have to consider team composition too. If a team has a bunch of talented inside scorers but no one can shoot, then its inside scoring will still be crap because of no spacing. We had some teams like that in the last round.

And then matchups. We should probably have a separate category for matchups but since we don't, they have to be accounted somewhere.

I think I'd give inside scoring to Jamers in that matchup. But I can see how Redemption might give it to Yung-T, he has Kemba, Monta, atum, that's great slashing and penetration, and the quickest of them is defended by Stephen Curry. And Pekovic isn't a rim protector. Duncan will help with that, but still, Yung-T's team is going to score lots of points inside.

I know monta is on the same level as parker scoring inside but i don't think he can single handedly give him an advantage overall. Noah isn't pretty much of a scorer and west prefers to take mid-range jumpshots while most of my players loves to get to the rim..

Not sure why i lost on chemistry category too.. They're all unselfish players and fit perfectly on their roles.

Yeah, it was tough. You have kind of below average rim protection, Maloe has great penetrating guards, great spacing, Maloe's guards will be tough to slow down here. And I think he's be able hide Harden defensively in this matchup. When I looked at overall talent, it seemed close, and I thought it's a better matchup for him, so I just picked Maloe.
Still, it's LeBron and CP3. If I had a lot of time to spare, I might've talked myself into picking them eventually, I don't know. But I spent too much time on the first 3 matchups and had to go at that point.

Overall: this one was truly a flip of the coin...Horry33 wins a 7 game series on a last second 3 point shot by Ray Allen!!!

I did the only fair thing as well. I played a best of 21 on http://www.whatifsports.com/nba/ it was Horry33 13-8, at one stage it was 6-6!

(Horry33 had 11 home games vs Jvu's 10 on whatif.com, first 7 home games for JVU, next 7 for Horry33, then 3 more for JVU & finally 4 more for Horry33)

    So close.

It breaks my heart to give a loss to a front line of Durant, Millsap & Big Al, but Dwight would destroy Big Al, Ryan Anderson would be lighting it up from downtown, Parsons too. Thabo sticks out like a sore thumb, yes he plays the D, but offers little else.

I believe Rondo would nullify Thomas' effectiveness & Durants brilliance alone wouldn't be able to beat Superman's squad.

Great team iwq...but no cigar this time mate.

    Whatif.com
    Iwq home stand: 5-2
    Spooner home stand: 6-1 (8-6)
    Iwq: 2-1 (8-9)
Spooner:2-2 (11-10) Damn I told you it was close!

Disclaimer: All my picks were done before simulation on whatif.com.

whatif.com didn't influence my vote, I just wanted to see if the simulation agreed with me on the Horry33 vs JVU series...then for fun & your enjoyment I spent the next few hours on the iPad doing all the teams so y'all wouldn't get jelly of the first two brehs...;)

Now it's almost midnight & I have to be up at 6am for work!!!

Not sure if it's too late since I haven't been online due to work but against spooner team I would have put MCW at the sg position to replace thabo since I am pretty sure he can guard Afflalo. MCW is 6`6 and Afflalo is 6`5 and avg 6 rebs for a guard so I am pretty sure he can man the shooting guard position for this matchup. Plus Durant is very tall and rebs well for a sf so I don't think I am losing much size here. Hopefully this helps me for the matchup since Thabo isn't doing well in the playoffs currently.

Sorry to double post. And I believe durant would dominate in this matchup as there is no defender other then parsons, which defensive prowess has gone down. Milsap would definitely be able to chase ryan off the 3 point line with his quick feet at the pf position.

On the offensive end, paul milsap would definitely eat anderson up and no way dwight would provide help defence as he would not be able to leave big al alone, with his post moves and mid range shot. And I disagree dwight will would destroy big al. They would cancel each other up in their matchup in my opinion if they go head to head. Big Al scores against any center this year even though if his opponent is super athletic.

Gortat could come in off the bench to wreck havoc on the frontline. With my new lineup with MCW at the sg position, thomas could be the off guard with his sharp shooting ability. With thomas and MCW at the guards position, they are so quick they would be able to run off the shooters and rotate accordingly as rondo would be sagged off from as his outside shot is questionable. Hopefully this helps me in the series.
