They didn't back up any of their statements with one valid reason. Except they have the best starting 5. They didn't even mention Paul's injury that could affect him. Our style of play - run and run and gun. Plus we got a healthy Howard. Who cares... we don't need any bandwagon fans anyway. Rox for life!
Who cares? They had the Spurs being the #2. They had Dallas over Houston. They had San Antonio over Los Angeles. They had the Bulls sweeping Milwaukee. They have been more wrong than right so their opinion doesn't matter. Griffin is stepping his game up in the playoffs and Chris Paul is the best point guard in the NBA, not Curry. So what? The Rockets split with them without clearly their second best player in Dwight Howard. James Harden is the best shooting guard in the NBA and Dwight Howard is the best center in the NBA. The Rockets bench is better, the Rockets have home court advantage and are rested and prepared. Do your talking on the court, take care of your buisness and ESPN and their celebrities and entertainers (they are not experts) will pick the Rockets in the future.
Does this surprise anyone? I thought we were all predicting all along that no matter who won between the Clippers and Spurs, most "experts" would pick them to win against us. So what? That has been the way it has been all season long. We won the second seed in an ultra-competitive Western Conference but they still don't give us very much credit. We won our first round playoff series convincingly and they say that it is only because the Mavericks were falling apart at the end of the year (ok..that part is true). And now they are saying that the Clippers should be the favorites. Good. Gives us another chance to prove them wrong.

Vegas odds has us at 19-2 to win the championship and the clippers at 12-1. http://www.vegasinsider.com/nba/odds/futures Our odds actually improved after the clippers beat the Spurs. To me this is the only truly unbiased opinion.
cant wait to hear hubie gobble blake up "ohhh ohhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhhhhh blake is just wonderful ohhhhhhhhhh oh no the rockets won, f**k me blake!"
Fluff piece covering the "motivation", but it is interesting to see how evenly split the nation is regarding this series http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/pos...s-using-experts-picks-motivation-nba-playoffs
So if we lose, we were supposed to lose anyway, so no hate. But if we win, we're Cinderellas? I think that's how espn works.
Forget the talking heads. Go with the wiseguys in Vegas. As opposed to the Ramona Shelburne, oddsmakers actually do their homework.
I don't mind....most of them picked us to win Dallas series except hating ass Ramona Shelburne, Amin Elhassan and Michael Wallace who picked against us each round. We All KNOW Ramona is still butt hurt about Dwight Leaving the storied franchise...Amin hates on Harden so much, he just has to keep it going to prove he was right when the time comes.
