I haven't been following it close enough to try to predict but I hope they do. A lot of people discount how important statehouse elections are yet they matter a lot especially in redistricting years.
reminder that texas is so gerrymandered that in austin, which is 60% registered democrat last time i checked, only one out of our five representatives is democrat. im in south central austin. i share a representative with people 100 miles away on the southeast side of san antonio. one of my friends lives 5 minutes west of me and they have a different rep and another friend lives 12 minutes southwest of me and they have a different rep. its a joke.
Yeah, we're so gerrymandered, I'd be more surprised by this than anything else. If Democrats take the Texas House and Senate, then holy crap Biden will win big.
Trump recently spoke at a private dinner admitting to donors it would be really hard for the GOP to hold the senate.
I’d take the the White House and Senate going blue over Texas but if would be even sweeter if Texas helped make that happen by flipping.

Johnny Football doesn't own a restaurant, he WORKS in one. Lulz. *No offense to Whitney Merciless who is making moves at One Fifth.
The only red I want to see after the election in Texas is the warm red center of my medium rare steak.
