Only JJ really deserves it. But who cares, isn't it just about popularity? On the other hand, any recognition for the Texans is good. Maybe this will spur them to play better on Sunday.

Duane Brown, Chris Myers and 'Dre have also been beasts this season.

I'd say Duane Brown is the clearest other all-pro Texan. Glad to see him get some recognition.

Out of the All-Star games, it's the one where popularity matters the least.

In MLB, fans choose all the starters. The players, coaches, and managers vote for the reserves.

In the NBA, fans choose all the starters and coaches vote on the reserves.

In the NFL, the fan vote only counts for 1/3 of the vote. The players vote counts for 1/3 and the coaches vote counts for the final 1/3.

With the players and coaches comprising 2/3 of the vote, I'd say that being selected to the Pro Bowl is based more on merit than the other all star games.

Which makes Jeff Saturday's selection all the more terrible. Dude got benched like 3 weeks ago.

Schaub, Smith, and Joseph have no business there.

I'm actually not sold Foster should be there, but don't have a problem with it at all.

Who would've thought that after his abysmal rookie season that anyone would say this. And he hasn't had a better career, or even a better last season, but THIS season Kareem has been playing better than J.Jo.

He was only benched last week. Fans did vote him as the #1 center. It's really hard for fans to judge the OLine because there aren't widely available stats to quantify it. More than any other set of positions, fans will go off of name recognition for OLine and Saturday has that. The fan voting ended before Saturday got benched, but even people who follow this stuff for a living were largely unaware that Saturday was playing poorly and in danger of losing his job.

Past that, I don't think anyone on our team past Arian, Andre, and JJ could make the team mostly because of name recognition. And those 3 deserve those spots, though it might've given Arian a bit of a boost. I don't think Schaub and Joseph got in via fan ballot stuffing.

Schaub does have business there. The clear cut #1 and #2 QBs are Manning and Brady. After that it falls to Big Ben, Luck, and Schaub. Seems people voted for the one with the best record. You could make an argument for any of those three taking the third spot.

Leave it to Texans fans to b**** and moan about having too many players selected to the Pro Bowl.

I never thought that would be possible, but this year Im thinking the same.

Kareem had a nice upside, but Joseph had a decline for injuries.

It would be very tough to pick one between last season Joseph or this season Kareem, maybe Joseph (last season) but it would be very close, and you could make a case for both.

Surprised Schaub made it over Luck. Colts win or lose based on Luck. Texans ask Schaub not to mess it up.

No RB is having a better overall year in the AFC. The only knock is the low ypc, his TD punch it in ability is tremendous...we seen how we missed him when we tried to use Tate in the red zone...only J. Charles has more yards, but has a whopping 5 fumbles, low TD ability, same with Ridley...

As "bad" as Foster has been this year, when you look at everything, every category for the whole year, he is astonishly still the best RB representative from the AFC....hopefully, we will see his old self tho I admit....

silliest argument ever. Going into the 4th quarter we pass it as much as the pass happy teams. So why is it that we stop passing it in the 4th quarter? I know it's mind blowing but this team has been winning games, like 12 0f them. In 8 of those wins, there was no need to pass it when you're up double digits and trying to run down the clock.

you'd think we've only won 2 games the way these threads are.

Not sure what your point is. None of that has anything to do with the fact that the Colts rely more on Luck to win games than the Texans do on Schaub.

Schaub's gonna win the Pro Bowl MVP again cause his game is tailor made for that, no pass rush, all the time in the world to throw.
