Hope a rookie is back there and not Manning. Not until playoff time at least.

Best of luck, Trindon. This was a failed experiment.

But we got Barrett Ruud out of it, so hell yeah!

forsett kick offs, martin punts, in the playoffs manning does kickoffs.
wouldn't surprise me if holliday gets picked up by a team whose ghost still loves speed.

Great decision. I want dynamic returns but he just wasn't doing it and his decision making was horrible. I'd rather start every drive at the 20 then continue to start drives at the 10-15.

Dude was trying too hard. Ran balls out that he should never have ran.

Liking these moves along with cutting Holliday. Any linebacker depth right now would be good

Sad but necessary step. Kid has talent, just needs to get past the yips.

Thought they might give him another week, or at least, until he had a turnover. He just wasn't producing unfortunately.

It wasn't that he wasn't producing. If he wasn't special that would have been one thing. The problem was he was helping the other team!

Returners need to be smart. There is no excuse for multiple drives to start inside the 15 with the new kickoff rules. You can't waste a roster spot on a guy who gets you to the 10.

Kind of saw this coming. Every interview I've heard with Kubiak he seems close to calling him out and has almost never defended him. That's not Kubiak's style, so....yeah, this isn't a real shock.

Kubiak said during the preseason that if you're going to use a roster spot on a guy who only returns kickoffs and punts, he better be special. Nothing special about Holliday.

I figured they'd wait until Sharpton was guaranteed to need a spot before cutting Holliday. The fact that they signed up a guard must mean he is either someone they think can help on special teams or they are worried about someone at the guard position.

Wish him the best, had to be done though. Forsett will do good back there.

I think it was more about Kubiak being fed up with Holliday.
