Would y'all be willing to give up on regime change wars all over the world incountries where we don't like the governments to cut down on domestic terrorism? Realistically we can just bomb and kill people till they are their remaining relatives stop wanting to retaliate.

Our Iraq War and out support for Israeli occupation brought us 9/11. which brought us Afghanistan and Iraq and Al Qaeda and all the rest.

Allowing extremists to have safe havens where they can gather strength and plot out attacks is what led to 9/11. What led to ISIS gaining strength and all of these ISIS inspired attacks was pulling out of Iraq and allowing ISIS the ability to rapidly expand the area they control in order to create a safe haven where then can gather strength and push out propaganda.

It was a failure of foreign policy that was always doomed to failure. In fact, if anyone remembers, I suggested that this exact kind of thing would happen if we enacted a "cut bait and run" strategy. It's just what you get when you have 2 bad presidents in a row.

We should have let Russia take out the extremists in the 80s instead of supporting them. And we should have let Saddam do what he does best, keep the crazies in check.

Hate to say this but both of those events happened under the R regime.

Muslims have been killing everything around them long before the US became a global empire - mind you, they weren't the only ones to have dealt with colonialism. Why don't we see Indians blowing up Brits and Western Europeans for 5 centuries of plundering and stealing their riches? South Americans attacking the Spanish and Portugese? Native Indians carrying out daily murders against the evil white man?

This is very, very much an ideological issue that no kind of foreign policy would change. Oil brought money into the MIddle East and that brought the dissolution of the few "noble Islamic principles" that were left. Every muslim ruler became a slave to money, like a lapdog running to his Western master. So while globalism or capitalism isn't compatible with Islam, the truth is, internal issues are far more relevant to aggressive muslim behavior than any kind of former or current empire like the US, Britain, etc.

Islam, the fairy tale, was invented 7 centuries after Christianity. A set of rules was created and tailor cut to suit a more tribal, animalistic peoples. And you're shocked these people aren't compatible with 21st century civilization without the need for reform? That's the cold hard truth.

And it needs to be said, instead of pandering and justifying the constant loss of lives due to Political Correctness. Stop finding excuses - the proof has been in front of you for over a millenia.

You guys keep wanting to condemn every ethnic group except for Europeans..

This land and country was here long before the US was created and it was owned by the Mexicans and the Native Indians..

'He was the most assimilated guy in the neighborhood'

Jama Alimad, a Somali community advocate and friend of the family, told the Star Tribune that Adan was more into sports than religion, describing him as 'the most assimilated kid in the neighborhood'.

'He was an A student. He was a tutor. He was employed,' Alimad told the newspaper.

A spokesman for the family, Abdi Wahid Osman, read from a statement expressing condolences for the injured and anyone else who was impacted.

'As we mourn the death of our son, Dahir Adan, who was very dear to us, we are in deep shock as everyone else is in the state of Minnesota,' the statement said.

Why ain't non muslim Indians attacking Brits?

The excuses made for justifying these killings are exclusively an Islam problem -- that's what the facts show us. You used too broad of a brush trying to bring the Black men killer narrative into this for sympathy.
