You aren't keeping up. The issue is NATO expansion -- adding new countries as members. Which is EXACTLY what has happened in the last 2 years. NATO moving east and along his border has always been Putin's red line for war. And Biden and the military-industrial complex knew this. They knew the Nov 2021 strategic cooperation agreement would lead to war. And it did. Foreign policy incompetence or deliberate attempts by this administration to start a war. Either one is awful and indefensible.
Pretty simple. If Russia doesn't want NATO expansion they can stop invading neighbors being aggressive as they seek to conquer former territory of the USSR. NATO is in charge of who joins NATO. Obviously you favor the idea of ceding NATO membership decisions to Russia. You might be the biggest appeaser on the boards.
US Embassy in Russia warned "that extremists have imminent plans to target large gatherings in Moscow, including concerts..." Putin 3 days before the terrorist attack dismissed it as "blackmail" by the West. An ISIS-K terrorist attack occurred at a concert in Moscow. They claimed responsibility (they released a video of it apparantly filmed by one of the attacker). (ISIS-K operates primarily in Afghanistan and is a sworn enemy of Russia and has targeted them in the past.) Putin was silent for 19 hours (imagine the POTUS being silent for 19 hours after a terrorist attack). When he finally spoke publicly, he did not mention ISIS once but blamed Ukraine (Putin claimed the terrorists were moving toward Ukraine and there were people on the Ukrainian side that is going to help them cross over safely). (The narrative that Putin is good for Russia's security is damaged, and his war in Ukraine has distracted him from protecting Russians; so, it's natural for him to blame Ukraine to continue his war there.) David Sacks, being prone to conspiracy theories and Russian propaganda, pushed Putin's propaganda, saying Ukraine is likely responsible for this terrorist attack. This isn't the first time he has repeated or pushed Putin's propaganda. Here are some more of them: NATO and the US provoked the Russia/Ukraine war The US sabotaged the Russia/Ukraine peace deal (2022 Istanbul faxu "peace" talk) The Russia/Ukraine war weakens the US, not Russia Ukraine is suffering due to US involvement in the war (as if Ukraine is a puppet used by the US with no choice) The US are warmongers You might be familiar with some of these as they have been posted here by certain members.
lol at the poster who was one of the biggest cheerleaders for bush and the iraq war now talking about the "military industrial complex".
Why do you folks give @El_Conquistador the benefit of the doubt. He's a partisan dipshit who will pivot to whatever view his side is on that specific day. Putin just gave a interview to Tucker where he claimed numerous times that Ukraine isn't a real country and it belongs in the Soviet union. I love how everyone somehow forgets the speech putin gave on the eve of the invasion where he stated ukraine had a fake president and ukrianians are actually Russians. The sorry dipshit MAGA crowd @El_Conquistador keep wanting to talk about unrelated garbage like NATO expansion cuz they can't wrap their head around that putin is just an awful guy. They're sorry sacks of ****
