[sarcasm] It's Bo Jackson just because this was before VY's time. THE GREATEST college player of all time. [/sarcasm]

    the original TECMO bowl?

Cap Boso (he had a crossing route that ws unstoppable- pass was always complete even w/the defender in front)

LT (on extra points.....blocks every time)

I'm assuming the original and voted for Bo Jackson. However, most people forget that Walter Payton was almost as unstoppable and also had that ridiculous defense to back him up. I was more of a Tecmo Super Bowl player (Tecmo Bowl was a little before my time). The Giants on that game were bannanas. LT blocking every field goal and an absolute ARSENAL of players on the offensive end. Of course, all you had to do on Tecmo Super Bowl was master the nose guard insta-sack. Just select the nose guard, and dive down to the right and immediately try to tackle after the snap. You'll sack the QB about 2/3s of the time right off the bat. Nothing like rackin' up 49-0 victories on the computer. Man, now I'm gonna have to go dust off the ol' NES...

    none of those...

Play against Dave Meggett in the Super Bowl and you will rethink saying that Bo Jackson is the best.

Actually, I would've voted other. I'm the greatest player ever. I'm convinced that no one can beat me in this game. Just give me the Oilers.

I'm pretty sure he meant Tecmo Super Bowl. Tecmo Bowl kinda sucked, actually.

    QB Eagles was awesome!

Who was the QB for the Patriots on that game? That dude was the Dan Pastorini of video game quarterbacks...

What about Roger Craig? He was unstoppable on the crossing route, even if the defense picked the play!

That play and the Howie Long "dive" when the ball was snapped (which would result in a sack every time) should always be banned.

But Bo Jackson was indeed unstoppable. Especially when the computer was controlling him in Week 16.

Steve Grogan, king of the floating pass that always got picked off by my boy Richard Johnson, the most underrated cornerback in Tecmo Super Bowl.

Grogan was terrible in that game.

The only weakness on the Oilers was Gerald "Ice Cube" McNeil could never get any sort of kick return.

McNeil's only issue was fumbling. I've has success with him on long kickoff returns.

Damn, I may have to break out the Nintendo and play a season.

The topic shouldn't even be considered a poll. It is common guy knowledge that Bo Jackson with 'Excellent' rating is the the most unstoppable force known to man. But I will say that nothing in the world beats dropping back 40 yards to throw a 100 yard bomb from Dan Marino to Clayton.

I have probably wasted two full years of my life playing this game, and while I'll admit LT was the force in the first Tecmo Bowl, nobody could mess with Bo on his excellent days. Jerry Rice was a monster as well.
