I think big tech stock IPO's are worth small investments - long term they seem to do well enough to make up for the few busts
Tech changes the world even more than politics Even though Elon has been blasted by haters and dummies , I believe Telsa and SpaceX and Boring are the future Off course people are going to hate Amazon and Tesla, but as intellects it's pretty revolutionary what they are doing it's like when Ford did the Model -T To me all these haters are people who are riding horses yelling at Ford and dumb suckers hating on the Wright Brothers and Fake Fans hating on @Clutch @Os Trigonum
I respect what Elon Musk has done. And if I were to ever splurge on a car, I'd buy a Tesla SUV. At the same time he's a megalomaniac. It's possible to see a man as he is, not as good, not as evil. To praise someone for their achievements and vision, but also criticize them for their ethics and missteps. People can oppose initiatives and push against them but still appreciate other things. It's not one or the other.
There’s something in common with dudes who become ultra rich They are eclectic people Leaders never act like followers
Bill Gates was vilified and hated as well. He's the greatest philanthropist in history. People hate so much they think he is up to something with his vaccines. Yes, people hate powerful people. And that's not a terrible thing. Let's not forget how Microsoft broke anti-trust laws and stole many of its ideas from Xerox, mac, and netscape. But it's not entirely bad that people oppose people who are brilliant and have a lot of power. Such people can do great things, but they also become intoxicated with power. Elon Musk is a different man than when he started paypal. Power - that kind of power, changes a person. And it's good that such people are held in check by opposing forces. No one should be trusted with excessive power.
Steve Jobs Heard he wasn’t a nice person to work with But his vision was vastly superior than a normal person
He was awful to work with. Amazing visionary. Not a great person to have any kind of relationship with. Sometimes we call people who are just a-holes "eccentric" Nothing wrong with being an a-hole.

I've read the US is filled with spies from several countries, doing relatively mundane things (stuff you cant make a movie about). They want our corporate secrets.
