I have a wager going with my wife. We eat take out or delivery once a week. I think this is much more often than the average person. She says we are about average. To semi-prove once and for all, how many times do you eat take out or delivery?
Because we hate washing dishes, my wife and I order pizza 2-3 times a week (!). No cheese and lots of veggies, but still: can't be that healthy.

Very rarely. Just as fast, and usually better to make something ourselves -- stir fry, bbq, pizza, fajitas... But we do go out to eat a lot!
There is a distinct lack of delivery places in my neighborhood except for the chains (Pizza Hut, etc.) but since Wings n More opened on Fondren & South Braeswood a couple of months ago, and they deliver, I have gotten their wings delivered 4 or 5 times.
Not too much delivery stuff in our area. We don't eat "take out" that much - we usually just sit wherever the food came from and eat there. That way, you get out of the house and (in some cases) get to keep refilling your drink cup. The best example is eating at the HEB, which we do once or twice a week (including the "Chinese" - not gourmet, but fits our budget). I don't know if heating up stuff from Central Market counts (the prepared stuff). The closest one is over an hour away so we can't go often, but we bring a lot of it back when we do. We eat out and eat fast food a <i>lot</i>. I hate to cook.
I don't think you'll get an unbiased sample with this poll. Mostly men. Mostly young. Possibly mostly single. Mostly computer owners with a higher than average number of Bawls-drinking computer geeks.
Maybe once every couple of months, although since I moved to Dallas, it's been once a week and its been freakin' fast food... I also live off of Campbell's Chunky soup...
Amen. We order delivery at least twice a week, three on average. I bought a binder and plastic sheet covers to hold all my menus...
As long as it is in my favor, this is a perfect sample. If it does not go in my favor, I could not agree more.
