The Seattle Insomniacs. Silver looks like a cadaver.

Different demographics and situation. But I'd agree with you that they likely can.

Another thing to consider, though, is over-saturation.

In a town with so many different things to do and ways to spend $$ already, they'll shortly go from 1 pro team to 2 when the Raiders arrive. If a 3rd team pro team was suddenly added to the mix, who knows how well it would go?

While the wealthy casinos would surely buy up tickets to hand out to high rollers and other transient fans, the common fan might not have enough disposable cash to support all the local teams.

    Just a thought.

I'm not suggesting attendance won't be good. I'm saying that's a smaller part of franchise value than most people think.

I have the misfortune of being a Rockets fan not in Houston. If the NBA had a Vegas team, and I could fly from here to Vegas to see a game, then proceed to get sh!tfaced on the strip and party with my partner we would do it in a heartbeat. Hell I would call @topfive and ask him to bring his better half and meet us in Vegas.

Jesus, that sounds like a fun vacation now. Why can't this be a thing already?

that's what the NHL fans are doing, I was in Vegas when the NY Rangers were playing and a ton of Rangers were getting plastered before the game.
the crowd was huge, there's a bunch of outdoor bars etc and they were all over the place.

It looked like a college football tailgate.

Sarver is one of the worst owners in NBA, just next to Dolan. Grown ups that inherited their fortune and didn't have to work for living one day of their lives.
